MUA

Normally, I am very impressed with MUA products. I am always pleasantly surprised whenever I buy one,as for the price, the quality is excellent. Recently I bought the MUA Beauty Balm in Light. I have never used a Beauty Balm before so I might be expecting too much, but after hearing so many people rave about them, I thought I'd give this one a go as this brand never disappoints me, however this did. On the packaging it says it 'primes, smooths, conceals'. It does make my skin feel a lot smoother when it is applied underneath my L'oreal True Match Minerals Foundation, however, it has a very thick consistency and is very hard to blend. I have also noticed no benefits to how well my makeup stays in place throughout the day, and it does absolutely nothing to conceal blemishes. With this product you definitely get the quality you pay for, which is not a lot.

There are other MUA products I absolutely adore, though. For example, the Blush Perfection Cream Blusher in Yummy. I have found with other cream blushers that when I apply it, it drags my foundation with it, but with this all my makeup stays perfectly in place. It gives a very natural looking flush to the cheek and gives them a lovely glow.

Another of my favourite palettes is the Heaven and Earth palette. It is a lovely set of nudes. I first fell in love with it when my sister bought it, as soon as I saw it I went out and bought it. I am now touching pan on a fair few of the colours, and it is definitely a product I will be
repurchasing.

So that is all for my first proper blog post, I'm sorry none of the pictures are my own, but my camera has been sent off for repairs as it isn't recognising any memory card.
Thanks for reading.
